This is a SCSI scanner. I received it with some other things and I've never tried to use it. I plugged it into a power outlet and turned it on. It made the normal humming noises for a scanner. The power indicator light blinked for a few seconds and then burned steadily. The scanning lamp turned on and appeared to be of normal brightness. However, I don't know if the scanner actually works.
The scanner is still in its original box. Although the box has suffered damage over the years that it has been in storage, it's still intact and it appears to have succeeded in protecting the scanner from damage. The box lists several items as being included with the scanner. Those items are no longer present. I suppose that a previous owner must have removed them from the box. For the record, I'll list here the missing items.
